RSS and HTML
I know it's the usual practice to globally turn off html on vbulletin for security reasons, but I'm wondering if this is a safe exemption;
I have some RSS feeds automatically entered into my forums via my taylored user, newsbot. Newsbot is only used for this purpose and is not accessed by any user. The problem is some posts use html for display and so I get issues like 'doesn’t' when its should be 'doesn't'. Assuming that turning on html for the rss feeds would fix the issue, would it also present a security risk? |

Not sure it will fix it, looks like a character collation issue with the db and the feed.
You can always try it and force the bot to send a update with that word in the new rss update with html on, then disable it again, i assume all ' do it though? |

I had a similar problem with my Business news Feeds, The RSS feed i was using was also trying to input an image, but it didn't show right so i deleted that feed.
