No ry, that mod's probably what he was talking about when he pointed out it requires editing. Five edits actually, and apparently only so that it can display the reason in a certain place & style.
What we could use is a no-edit mod that simply forces users to post a reason for closure. i.e., simply as the last post in the thread. Then it should strikethrough the thread title.
Reason being, we allow users to close their own threads, but they rarely explain they're doing it, leaving a lot of participants angry at the mods for closing it.
