Kind of like 'parking' an account? I have never seen something like that. What do you see as the purpose of this? Do you prune accounts and so you want users to be able to park their account so it doesn't get pruned?

I think he is looking for a self-inflicted ban option....or to put it in other words...forced "vacation" from the forum

Ahhh! Tell them to set their password to some jibberish they can't remember and then when they want to come back, they use the Password Recovery Form to reset it. (One of my users did this to himself.)

I could be wrong but I'm not sure thats what he's after. I've something on a site (don't know if it is a mod here) that all inactive accounts after 6 months get deleted.

Hah. But that's not really "forced". The user can use the password recovery at any time...while a 2 month ban is a 2 month ban More hardcore members might need that haha.
