So, simply prefixing a userid in the above format would do it.

Yes, but I have no problem filtering those from gmail and sending them to the appropriate people.

What I'd rather see is an easy way to change the From: addy on all the subscriptions.

The code is very similar, because the original code of vBulletin is this:

and to replace email ($vbulletin->options['webmasteremail']), it is necessary to replace all code.

You can view the original code in sendmessage.php in lines 283-299, above the hook sendmessage_docontactus_complete.

Do you have permission from rogersnm to re-use his code, as this is an almost 100% copy of his modification. Even the text for the options etc.. are 99% the same.
