"security token" error when users loggin in

Some of my users are recieving this message when trying to login.

does anyone know why it happens?

"Your submission could not be processed because a security token was missing or mismatched."

I m using latest version 3.7.2 patch level 1

my mods and myself get this message when we try to mod a thread from the forum.

we can only modify a thread while we are in it, which is strange...

Create a new style with no parent set - then browse with that style. If you don't experience problems with this style, it means your style is outdated and needs to be updated.

A search will have revealed a lot of answers.

Solution =

Open up your footer template and find:

<form action="profile.php?do=dst" method="post" name="dstform">

..and under it add:

<input type="hidden" name="securitytoken" value="$bbuserinfo[securitytoken]" />

That's already there for me and it still doesn't work. This mainly happens when members try accessing their UserCP or use the search feature.
