Spam bots sign up to my forums and automatically rate their threads a 5 so that people are more likely to click them. One got through and posted in virtually every thread in my forum and rated it a 5 and now my forum design is clogged up with all these stars.
How can I delete or clear thread ratings? |

double edged sword
*sigh* PERFECT hack for me richTV... you're kind to have been answering all my problems today. This is exactly what I spent 45 minutes searching for. Unfortunately, it was for 3.6.4 and the author took it down to make it a PAID mod only and his site doesn't load. I saw you posted a solution for 3.6.8 but I'm running 3.7.3... thoughts on this? |

I was afraid of that... any idea where I could find them if I delve into phpMyAdmin?

You could just try removing the rating from being displayed in threadbit template.
AdminCP > Styles & Templates > Style Manager > Edit Templates > Threadbit Templates > threadbit Have a search around for "rating" and see what happens if you try and delete it. Make sure you keep a backup of the old or do it on a test site. |
