HELP! Account suspended due to License investigation?????

So I have run Vbulletin since the day I bought the license in 2005. I haven't updated the version since 2006 and have not once had a problem with the software. This July I changed my main site platform to Dolphin Community software and hired a coder to integrate VB into it. Well my web host of 3 years did not support the Dolphin script so I changed hosts. The guy I hired to integrate it installed it for me and integrated it... its been up and running for 2 months just fine... until yesterday. My web host suspended my account, I figured it to be a billing issue. Well they got an email saying I was running an illegal copy of VB???? I am waiting on my partner to get me the license number, he registered it for our domain. What can I do about this?

This agent is UK based, with no US contact information and per this letter we were never notified of such situation.

You should direct all licensing questions to vBulletin.com, nobody* at vBulletin.org can provide you with the exact help you require. My recommendation is to open a support ticket at vBulletin.com (you can do so through the members area) as they will be the only ones who can resolve the problem.

Either way you are going to need your account details when solving an issue like this.

Its like trying go abroad without your passport... not going happen.

Edit: I think you opening a ticket by emailing sales@vbulletin.com they will be able to help you out.

With or without your customer details, you can always open a ticket by sending an email to sales@vbulletin.com (best for license issues) or support@vBulletin.com.

As already stated nobody at vB.org can look into your license details, except me (as i am also a Jelsoft Staff Member).

Closing this thread as license issues should be discussed in a ticket.

PS I guess you already resolved the problem as i can see that your licensed URL has been updated yesterday.
