Default Characters BIG ERROR after installing VBGEEK AUTO LINKER 6.0.8
Hi lovely ppl,

i have buyed Auto-Linker 6.0.8 and succesfully installed on Vbulletin 3.6.10 PL4.

I have recognized a very strange error: after installed Auto-Linker ALL è / ù / à characters was CHANGED in the relative ascii codes.

For example, ù in ALL POSTS was changed in &#249.

è was changed in &#232.

There's a way to fix this BIG ERROR ? I run Vbulletin in ITALIAN LANGUAGE.

If you have questions/problems with a modification or style, then please post in the thread (or support forum/board) about that modification/style. Best chance to receive a reply from either the author or another member using the same modification/style.

The only real answer you get here is instructions to ask the author. They created the modification so they are really the only ones who know how to fix it.

Also since bought the modification, you really should be asking at where you purchased it from. Like if you buy vBulletin you ask on vBulletin.com or vBulletin.org for questions like "How do I fix this?", you wouldn't ask on a random PHP forum.

If someone is selling scripts they should also give professional support on these scripts.

Their support website is really the place you should get your answers.

ok, listen to me: there's a way to substitue &#232 with relative characters ? ? for example

a mysql command for changing ascii code into relative character code...

That would just remove the symptoms temporarily it would not solve the problem. I'm not sure if it would even work...

As stated before, you will need to get support from teh site where you got this script from.

Any suggestions we make here are only guesses and solutions offered might even make things worse.
