Admin Browser Compatibility?
Hello All,
I have just installed vBulletin but I have a lot of experience with other Forum software. The problem I'm having is that after I update a setting in the admin, once it refreshes the setting doesn't appear to be changed. If I log out and log in I see the updated setting. I am using FireFox 3. Any suggestions? Regards, Nick |

This should not be related to the browser used, sounds more like a server problem (Suhosin/Hardened PHP, mod_security, etc..), please check your webserver log files. You might need to contact your host to resolve this.

Admin CP > Maintenance > Diagnostics > Problematic Modules
Does that come up clean? |

Results of Diagnostics:
Suhosin Module Loaded No mod_security AJAX Unicode Issue No Results The above setting will indicate if mod_security is preventing some AJAX requests from being submitted to vBulletin. If this shows Yes then you either need to disable mod_security or change the AJAX settings with the vBulletin Options and disable Problematic features. Thank you for your replies and hopefully you can help me resolve this! |
