Hi everybody,

Is it maybe a cool hack that a user can change the glow from his username in his user cp ??

each member can change than his own glow for his nickname in the user cp!
is this possible?

and who can make this hack for me/us!

Not saying I will.. do it, but I am sure it can be done... I personally would'nt think this would be all that hard. If I get some time, I will try it out.

This really doesn't require any hacking.
Simply add a custom field, and make it mandatory.
Then, on the postbit template, add the glow part to the username, and for the color use $post[fieldX]. Be sure to change X to the real field ID (see attachment for more info - the id in that case is 5).

ok i tried that

but i cant get it to change to a diff color it stays red

i need some help here

I don't know how to make text glowing, can you please add the code for it?

I just tried this method on my test forums, only I used <font color="$post[field5]">, and it worked like charm.
