I'm a new vBulletin holder and am just getting it setup. I have another website related to my business separate from my new vBulletin. I was told that it would help my non vBulletin site to have links back from my new vBulletin site for SEO purposes. It was suggested that I enable my vBulletin forum to have a link back to my other website posted on every single thread that is posted on my vBulletin forum, including users that post threads other than myself. First of all, would this actaully help or hurt for SEO purposes?

If it would help for SEO then it is my understanding that it would take a programming change to allow for my link to be included in all new threads on my forum. Is there anyone that can help me with this? Helpful resources?
