Description: Tired of spam? reCAPTCHA Mailhide helps you protect your inbox by asking people to solve a reCAPTCHA before they can view your email address.
The reCAPTCHA can only be solved by humans, so this stops spammers from gaining access to your email address through automated programs. Here is an example: john...@example.com.
Details:
Many spammers crawl the web looking for email addresses. When they see an email address on a web page, they send spam to the address. Mailhide allows you to safely post your email address on the web. Mailhide takes an address such as jsmith@example.com and turns it into jsm...@example.com. In order to reveal the address, a user must click on the "..." and solve a reCAPTCHA. If you use the Mailhide version of your email address, spammers won't be able to find your real email address and you'll get less spam.
The Mailhide portion of the PHP Library requires the PHP mcrypt module.

hi I'm trying to install this mod... it is working great.
however it seems to clash with my Links & Downloads mod displaying the following error:
Quote:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: handle_bbcode_email_recaptcha() in /home/mysite/public_html/forum/includes/class_bbcode.php on line 1310
it only happens when I activate and allow bbcode on the downloads mod. If I deactivate it, it doesn't clash. any idea how to resolve this and switch bbcode back on?

Hrm.. that's weird. This is being hooked into vB's default BBcode parsing routines.. I'll take a look at it.
