Sometimes I wonder just how important it is to have a link to the memberlist at the top. I am considering either moving it to the footer or removing it altogether. Has anyone else done this?

I help run a rather large community where it was removed years ago and there was very few if any mentions by the members after it was removed. Most people did not even realize it was gone.
