I dont want the announcements displaying at the top of the newests posts window how do i remove that?

I just can second. Currently I´m posting rss-newsfeeds as annoucements onto some of my sub-forums and every newsfeed-item is showing up in the new-post-search-list. It´d be better to exclude the announcement-items from the new-post-queries, at least as an option.
