For the last year, I have occassionaly visited pnflashgames website and tried to get a 'preview' of the so-called multiplayer chess game. For the entirety of those 2 years, the 'multiplayer chess game' is perpetually "loading"
If pnflashgames and electro-whoever they are, can't get this so called multiplayer chess game running on their own servers, I wouldn't hold much hope of getting it running within ibproarcade.
The Chess game appears to be loading (or connecting) because it does not connect to an ElectroServer.
According to instructions, you have to download and install the ElectroServer and then edit the flash code in the Chess client to point to your ElectroServer.

After some installing and investigating, we installed ElectroServer 4 and Chess.swf. We also took a look inside Chess.swf and found it pointed to an XML file, ServerSettings.xml. Using the same directory path, we created this file on the server (vB arcade and ES4 on the same server for now) and the file loaded (it seems).
However, we are still hanging at "Connecting ...." in the MX Action Script.
I have asked for a bit of help with ElectroServer, here:
To follow-up, the issues Teresa and I encountered in our debugging teamwork were primarily two-fold:
(1) Adobe Flash security is complex for flash games using socket connections, making the actual implemention challenging.
(2) The version of Chess.swf available on the public web sites is not compatible with ES4, and may not be compatible with the last available release of ES3.
Right now we are "in a holding pattern" as I don't have time to install the publicly available version of ES3 and check compatibility with our version Chess.swf downloaded from pnflashgames.com. We are not confident that this verson of ES3 will work with the legacy Chess.swf file.
Then, we would have to cross the hurdle of getting a working config up and running with Adobe Flash security, not very easy across the Internet (much easier when all is on your hard drive).
I would like to that Teresa for such great support, which includes all the kind people at ElectroTank who supported Teresa. Obviously, the ElectroTank team is often constrained by Adobe Flash security issues, which is out-of-scope of the actual server, ES4 (or ES3).

I was talking about the ches game on pnflashgame OWN web site. Are you saying that everyone that wants to play this game has to download and install electrotanks server??? That would suck.
