Is there a hack that makes the "MESSAGE ICONS" clickable?

ok, now don't get "message icons" and "smilies" confused. I was hoping to find a hack that makes the "message icons" (the smilie icons at the top next to radio buttons) clickable and then after you click them it inserts that icon into your post. Sorta like the "message icons" and the smilies" both combinded.

if anybody knows if this hack exists, please let me know where to find it.

If it doesn't anybody think about making it?

just a wild and crazy idea here, but why not just take the icons that you want to display in the post, make copies of them so you have them in both areas, and add them into your smiley's?

Because I have 40 message icons and that would looks stoopid in both places. I fixed the problem anyways I just added them all to the code so if people want to use them in their posts they will just have to learn the codes anyways.

Since nobody can make a hack here like they could for UBB.

making a hack for it would be basically useless in my opinon. It would require a ton of time, for something that can be done in a matter of seconds by simply copying the pic into the smilies area.

There is a set limit in your control panel to display how many smilies you want to show on the newthread/newreply/etc.. page for smilies as well. Ours at one time only showed 6 up front, but 180 in the pop up. Some of them were yes....icons....but, when you add the icons into the smilies for everybodys use, it kind of defeats having the icons in there to begin with, because the icons do have somewhat of a meaning to the thread. Basically, you can get a good indication of what the thread contains, just by looking at the icon. If the icons are overused, than there really is no sense in having icons.
