A couple of Questions
I have a few question that I have spent the last few days trying to figure out. (More than likely there is simple fixes but I am just missing them some where). I hope this is the right section.
1.) How did you get the posts in the Home Tab page of the vbulletin.org site to display. I remember seeing this somewhere but I search for a few hours yesterday and could not find it. Can someone link the How to if there is one. 2.) I have a few mods installed on my forums that 5 out of 300 people dont like is there a way to put a User ID code infront of the mod that only requires me to list the user who DO NOT want the mod to be displayed. Instead of making a new usergroup or listing all 300+ users that want the mod to be displayed? 3.) Lastly, this may have to go in the request section but i will see what yall say. In the postbit template is there a way to make a image wrap around the VBulletin Avatar? Something like the vbulletin.org avatar for Admins but instead of it being a all in one image I want to have a usergroup specified image that wraps around the user selected avatar image. Any help in any of this areas would be very helpful. |

1) Check out http://www.vbadvanced.com/
2) It depends on the mod. If it does support usergroup settings, you are probably better off using that. 3) There is no way to do this with a vbulletin install. There may be a hack out there already though. |

Thanks for the reply rootnik,
1.) I was looking at vbadvanced but was not sure if it allowed the thread like that but I guess i could work it in like that. 2.) Have you ever seen the ability to not allow access to a mod? Like having the (<if condition="is_member_of($bbuserinfo, 6)"> ) code but instead of allowing usergroup it denied access via user id number. 3.) I will see if i can write a mod for this then. Maybe just have to create a image that imports the [user-avatar] in the middle. |
