Hi,
As I want to make one of my 'forums' a 'news' forum/container, I wish to add a few fields, like 'publish start' and 'publish end'. The forum itself will not be displayed to normal users, but will be used by the sites crew to create news articles. The display of the data will be done by a custom vBadvanced module. I have done some searches, but I have not found how to add fields to a specific forum. Replies welcome ! Alternatives as well. Regards, Taco |

Do a search on Form Hack (may be Forms Hack) and on Stencil Hack and see if one of those does what you want.

Unfortunately this is not what I am looking for. I really want to add fields to the database (and forms)

I don't know that you will find some generic hack that writes columns to a table for you to go along with the form you create. There are too many factors that would go into setting that up.

vBulletin doesn't offer this type of setting for forums, but vBulletin Blog includes delayed publishing.
