where to put new rank images

Hi, I want to upload a new rank set , (1) where exactly would this go and ( which directory )-- (2) how then to get them to function ( what changes would I need to make in admin ) thanks for any help on this

1. simply upload your rank images in forums/style/ranks
2. then go to admincp->user ranks->add new user rank->provide the User Rank File Path
3. after adding ranks, go to maintainance->update counters->Update User Titles and Ranks
