I'm looking for a mod where a member can choose a secondary email address for event reminders (from the "Remind me about this event" option on the calendar), or to have it sent via text message to their cell phone.

Is there such an add-on?

No put you can easily create a new profile field called "secondary" email and then create an additional hack to send out emails based on this new profile field created.
