Hey,
How does it work in vB? I can't seem to figure it out. I want to have it automatically post on my forum via an online RSS feed. |

You use the RSS Manager > Add New RSS Feed > enter the url for the feed and the forum to post in along with a username and away you go.
Here's more info in the manual: RSS Feed Posting Robot |

Okay, got that done. Although how can I make it so it adds more text to the article?

There are a couple of options mentioned in the manual pages I linked you to, but ultimately I believe it is up to the site to determine how much text they want to send you. The intent of the feed is to just give you a little bit and then have people click on the link to go back to their site. Some sites have terms of service for their RSS Feed and insist that you leave in the link back to their site.

And how do you fix a feed that gives errors?

I wish I knew the answer to that one! I wanted to add another feed to my site and it kept putting this <img> tag in and screwed up my <more> url. I tried all sorts of things and could never get it to post right, so I had to forget it.

Well, if you ever get an answer to this dilemma, please let me know.
![]() I have a feed in my Site Map that gives me an error every time I click on the RSS icon. |

You have to enable HTML to get rid of the <img> tag.
![]() I enabled HTML for administrators in the forum. |
