We all know the interface for vB.com, which is the standard interface (off the shelf templates).
VB.org should just use that to make our lives easier, i think. |

Why? What are you finding hard about navigating around vb.org?

this theme was used on the site to demonstrate the flexibility of vBulletin's engine... having a monotone theme would show the opposite... if all official vb sites are the same it demonstrate the hardness of the engine.

The design of vBulletin.org was carefully choosen. We used the following 2 basic rules during design:
- Design should be very similar to default vBulletin. It should immediatly be recognisable as a vBulletin site. - It should demonstrate the flexibility of the the vBulletin Engine and templating system, without compromising the first rule. |

I love the vB.org skins - I don't like the vB.org search mechanism though LOL

One needs find things. Like i acess my subscribed threads from Quick Links. Personally, the addition of the extra bits unique to vB.org would be enough to prove the point.

Since the option exists on the quick links, I am sure a lot of people normally access them through that. Obviously you get there anyway sooner or later.
