"advanced" style post editor always on
Hi all, noob here with a noob question...
Is there a way to have the advanced post editor options always on so that my users don't have to click on the "go advanced" button to have all the options show up? I've looked in the "message posting interface" options, and all of the other message posting settings and I can't seem to find that switch anywhere. Am I just overlooking it? thanks! rob |

You can enable them for new users under vboptions > registration options > Default Registration Options

thanks Lynne! that was it!!
One other question: I've imported my SMF board from last semester, and right now when a user goes to one of those older boards it shows no threads since they are all older than the cutoff date. Is there a way to set the global thread visibility display options to "from the beginning" so it will display every post? thanks! --------------- Added [DATE]1210090672[/DATE] at [TIME]1210090672[/TIME] --------------- Nevermind Lynne! I found it under the individual forum settings in the forum manager! i'm really starting to love VB! |
