I like the idea of RSS feeds but don't want people to leave my forum to read something on another website. In order to prevent this I am looking for 1 of 2 mods.

Option 1 would be to download the entire feed into my forum.

Option 2 would be to open the complete feed but stay on my forum something like an online RSS feed reader built into vbulletin.

Anything like this out there or other RSS mods that will keep members on my site?

If the feed does not provide the complete text/article, both options would not work.

Isn't there a way to have an RSS reader on the forum that downloads the whole feed then outputs it to a thread?

I am sure it would be possible, hypothetically, but I haven't seen it done before.
