I'm not sure exactly what you're looking for, but have you looked under Admin CP > RSS Feeds > RSS Feed Manager? Or, vboptions > External Data Provider > Enable RSS Syndication?

You find the site you are wanting to get the information from and find the rss link for it. Like for the New York Times, I put "New York Times RSS" into the Google Toolbar and get a link to a page full of rss feed links for that site.
