Hello,

I would like to know if anyone knows how to prevent users from posting images using the IMG tag, that are hosted remotely, in addition, it would be great if you also knew a way how to add a whitelist to it.

A lot of my members dont know about the vbulletin attachment tool, so they upload images to imageshack.us and similar sites. In the end, images get deleted and most of the threads are useless.

You could just globally disable [img] BBCode in vBulletin Options and thus force users to use the [attach] BBCode.

I thought about doing that, but then we wouldnt be able to "post" images within the postbit area.

It would be more difficult forcing users to use the [attach] BBCode instead of attaching images. lol
