What does it do?

Features include global settings, advertisements allowing template conditionals, ad sharing and ad revenue sharing, timed advertisements, preset popular ad locations and functions such as sponsors, additional custom ad locations, random and static advertisements and its all very easy to use. You can use it for ordinary ads like adsense, banner rotations, or any content at all as well as using it to manage ads outside your forum too.

If you are using autoinsertion and were using vB Ad Management before version 4.00, you will need to remove your old template edits or advertisements will appear multiple times. Just reverse the old instructions below.

* Find <!-- post $post[postid] popup menu --> and paste $postbit_advertisement above it in your postbit & postbit_legacy templates.
* Paste $forumbit_advertisement at the bottom of your forumhome_forumbit_level1_post and forumhome_forumbit_level2_post templates.
* Paste $threadbit_advertisement at the bottom of your threadbit template.
* Paste $footer_advertisement at the top of your footer template.
* Find $spacer_close in your footer template and below it paste $rightcolumn_advertisement.
* Find &nbsp; in your header template and replace it with $header_advertisement.
* Find $spacer_open in your header template and below it paste $leftcolumn_advertisement.

Ah cool cheers. I uploaded all the files and it installed fine. I went into the settings (in the admin CP) and there was no text just jumbled up tick boxes (on RC2). I'll upgrade to RC3 over the weekend then give it another try.

To remove ads hperlink with registration page :
Go to Admincp--------Styles & Templates-------------Style Manager-------------Advertisement Templates
Header====> remove this code from advertisement_header :

my visitors/members on my forum cant se my postbit Adsense. And i can se them. ?

go to admincp vB Ad Management- Global Settings-and check Enable advertisements for usergroups

Hello there,

Thanks for what looks like a wonderful holistic solution.
However, I have not been able to set it up successfully.

For someone who has not much 'vb code' experience, can I see some help/threads where an easy setup guide can be followed?

I want to copy ad code from Google/anyplace and just paste it here.
On the header, the footer & navbar.
Where can I see the best simple threads/guides on that, instead of going through 163 pages !?

actually this doesnt work right on the forums. causes a few errors. the one noticeable besides the problems when trying to use the auto refresh is it is causing some sort of issue when viewing a thread, you cant click on your user names and have the roll out options of viewing a users profile, sending a PM, so on. it conflicts in the showthread for some reason. that is another problem i have noticed about this mod.

i would suggest not installing this mod at all. use http://www.openx.org/phpadsnew

I do have a question though.

I'm using the GT,Search:Google Custom Engine Search

There are strict rules with the search where you are not allowed to have any ad with the search being there. I'm curious to know if anyone around here is using it and has an pointers on which function in the VB Ad management to stay away from to "NOT" get banned.
