I accidently moved myself from the admin group which had admin permissions to get into the ACP and now it wont let me go back in. and the worst part is, that there arent any other admins on my site. I really need help!! this is stopping everything im doing! please help!

There should be a tools.php file in the do not upload directory of the vBulletin file you downloaded to install. I think that is what you upload to the Admin CP and run to give yourself admin privileges again.

go into mySQL on the webCP of your site - browse the VBulletin tables for user - change Usergroupid to the number for admin. I think this would most probably work

For anyone else that comes along:
Do not perform direct edits on your vbulletin database, it is not recommended. (Re: Post #3) Tools.php is provided for these sorts of problem as given by Boofo in Post #3. |

Make sure you remove the Tools.php file now that things are fixed. Never leave that on the server.

another option is to edit you config.php and set yourself as superadmin and on undeletable/unalterable
