Default VBSEO Question

Hi All,

Yesterday i posted a thread and today when i was making a search in Google and i saw that the search engines already displayed my thread that was posted on Vbulletin.org, how is this possible?

How can i do that my forum threads are displayed in Google, Yahoo etc.... that fast?

I have vBSEO 3.1.0 installed in my forum but no threads are to be found in the search engines.
Did i set it up wrongly or am i using the wrong Vbseo?

Thanks

ok...here is the whole thing.

If you have a great page rank, or sitemap that is searched often you will be listed faster. It's that simple.

I'm guess that you might have a smaller forum, and that is why. I believe in the power of a great site map, easy navigation and quality content.

I also use vBSEO.

Having VBSEO doesn't make your site an instant hit.....basically you need your page rank to be higher.

- have sites link in to you (affiliations, advertising, articles)
- update your site frequently with new and unique content
- the older your domain, the better
- Links from trusted sites: "TrustRank" means higher ranking based on links to trusted sites. Lnks to your site, whether trusted by human editors or programs, will lead to higher ranking, now more than ever. Links with .edu or .org addresses build integrity.
- get more traffic to your site and try to create more activity

I don't use vbSEO but guess what...after one month, my tracker recorded over 400 searches in google where my site ranked in the first page with some very general search key words...what i focused on is getting my sites linked in alot and posting lots of new content daily.

Hi TheComputerGuy ,

Thanks for your reply, i created my website 1 week ago and it complies with what you told me its still a small forum, i thought that Vbseo would instantenaly send out my content to the search engines .

Thanks you again for your help.

Hi Bradley_Wint,

I see now actually the VBSEO is only a plus in order to get a better ranking once the site has already a certain activity.

Thanks for your tips will have to work on it from now on

Thank you.

If your site is 1 week old you're not going to get any good SERPs from the engines.

It takes time, SEO isn't an over night or weekend project, you can however take certain steps to Increase your SERP's
