Hack where people can hide certain members avatars?

Some members of my site use avatars of a more adult nature... other members don't like that, but don't think they should have to block those people, or block all avatars.

So, is there a hack available, or is it possible to have a hack where 1 member can click on something that will then hide another members avatar from them? What about for signatures?

This would be a VERY helpful hack...
