Putting html into php?
Okay, I'm going to sound like a total newbie here and when it comes to php and forum ownership, I guess I am. I am wanting to use Google Adsense on my forum and they give you html coding to place into your site. Where should I put this html coding so that my ads start showing up? I am using vBulletin® Version 3.6.7. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Log into your ACP, and go to Styles & Templates, then choose the skin you want to put them in, and determine where you want them. I put mine in the FORUMDISPLAY and SHOWTHREAD templates, as well as FOOTER template. If you use the first two, put the code below the navbar and header.
Let me know if you need any help. |

Placing it in the footer template should make it appear on all the forum pages.

Wherever you want it to appear. Since you're a newbie. Best thing to do is to experiment and play around with it. That's the only real way to learn. There really isn't a way to mess anything up. The great things with computers is the undo button.
Just stick the code wherever you think you'd like it to show up, and then if it doesn't look right, put it somewhere else. Make sense? |
