Hi,

I am thinking of using flashchat in my forum. I wonder if anyone use it and wanna know if it is using up lots of server "power". I am using a shared hosting server.

Is your forum very popular?

It should not really once the flash application is small. Who are you hosted with btw?

I have heard on really busy forums it can be very server intensive if there are a lot of users in it. I don't know for sure as I don't have that problem. It would be worth checking out, though.

I am just starting the forum and plan to use sigma chat. However, i got to pay yearly subscription to them. I was thinking to use flashchat as it is free but i heard from others that it is quite server intensive and slow the chat down.

I look into PJIRC but i am not impressive with its appearance and the way it looks, it dun have the function of allowing multiple room creation.
