Mod installations - version issues
Hey,
If i have a 3.5xx board and want to install a mod who is cleared for the latest version of VB... the 3.6.. Would this be a issue or can i install the mod still? Right now im running V. 3.5xx and in the progress of updating it .. in a few days. but i would lke to install the "Adsense mod" today if posible |

I would upgrade the forum first.
I don't know if the mods are backwards compatible over such versions. You can try it but there is no guarantee it will work. |

Sometimes it is already discussed in the mod thread whether the mod is compatible with other versions. It seems I'm always seeing someone say "will this work with version 3.x.x?" So, try reading the whole thread (recommended highly in any case) and see if it is already discussed.
Many times the mod will work, but it really depends. I've had the simplest of mods not work after an upgrade simply because vbulletin made a little change in how something was done. |
