Sorry that this is a duplicate post, but kind of an emergency (unable to register) and no response from the Add-on thread...

Had NoSpam! 3.5 installed. Upgraded forum to 3.6, deleted NoSpam 3.5 and reinstalled NoSpam 3.6

PROBLEM:

When registering you could not answer the NoSpam problem correctly. Why? Because the NoSpam question displayed are questions from the original 3.5 installation!

Went in and completely uninstalled NoSpam. It is not listed as a Plugin/Addon in The CP, BUT I still have a NoSpam questions (from 3.6) which cannot be answered correctly. As a result, you cannot register!!!

Any advise on how to get rid of this???

I'm not familiar with that modification, but if I were having the problem, I'd uninstall both modifications (3.5 and 3.6) and then I would look at the xml file and see how the questions were being stored (phrases? tables?) and then I would remove them manually along with any other things like that that was added by the modification. Any files? Delete them. Any plugins? Delete them. I'd make sure they were both completely removed and then I would install the 3.6 one.

I was using NoSpam untli yesterday because the spam didn't reduce. I now use reCapcha is way better than NoSpam. I know this doesn't answer your question but maybe you can consider this option.
