PHP Chess Integration
I've installed PHPChess on my site. You can have a look here: http://www.majorleaguetalk.com/chess/
PHPChess is written in pure PHP and uses MySQL. I would like to be able to use the vBulletin User/ Registration system for PHP Chess. I'm not concerned about passing style variables from vBulletin to PHPChess as it would probably be more trouble than its worth. There is a PHPbb integration for PHPChess but not one for vBulletin. You can have a look at the PHPbb integration here: http://phpchess.com/wiki/doku.php?id...um_integration From what I've seen so far of PHPChess, I like it. I think it will help attract new members to my site. The program is very reasonably priced at $49. Anybody want to take a crack at integrating the user the products so that vBulletin users and PHPChess users shat the same Vbulletin User/Login system? |

You could do what I do with my tracker and add a plugin at registration that registers the users to the tracker at the same time they get registered to the forum. I actually have two 'user' tables - one for vbulletin and one for my tracker (they have different names). So, my tracker uses one of the tables and my forum uses the other.
