Is there a mod that does this?
Basically I want to make a mod that will do a string replace of a certain word on all new posts and replies. Is there a mod that does this already so I can look at the code and see how it's done? Is this possible to do with a mod?

Isn't that a built-in function with vB?

its a default feature of vbulletin -- edit your style and you will an option for stylevar -- it will allow you to do replacements.
It will replace everything on the rendered page so if your template say "quick reply" and the user types in to the post "quick reply" -- your stylevar will replace both, not just whats been entered into post. |
