Gender Specific Forums - How do I Restrict Access???
Hello.
I'm trying to setup "Men Only" and "Women Only" forums on my site, that will require the user to have already specified a gender during the registration process. This should only allow Men to enter the "Men Only" forum(s), and Women to enter the "Women Only" forum(s). Ideally, this should be a setting which they specify during sign-up, but then can't change without contacting the Admin. (Otherwise they could switch it back and forth at will.) The only way that I can figure out how to do this, is to basically duplicate each user group and have a male & female gender of each. This however is a whole lot of work, if there is an easier way. (It seems like there has to be an easier way!) I don't want the general public to be able to tell which gender a user is, I want that information to remain private between the user and the Admin. Does anybody know how I can implement this on my site? Any assistance would be appreciated! Thanks! Jeff |
