Hey guys!

Sorry I'm not releasing any little goodies much anymore but I try my best to help.

I have this TeamSpeak display script, which I have modified to work with vbAdvanced. It was a while ago that I actually modified the file, so I am not 100% sure whether or not I coded it to look like my board, or whether it will worth with any colour scheme, you will have to check for yourself, however I am sure that it worked every time I changed my theme so I doubt there will be much for you to do My support may be limited, but I will try my hardest. Sorry, I don't have a screenshot, because I no longer use teamspeak, but if somebody can post one, I will upload it to this post. The php scripting is the work of somebody else, but I have changed a few parts so that it works as a module correctly.

Features:
*Connect to server/channel through module
*Show users in different channels
*Show user permissions (R/CA/SA)
*Display if server is offline
*No delay on status (not problems with that yet)
*Looks almost identical to teamspeak layout
*Works very well as a module

Anyway, lets cut the crap and get on with it!

Cheers,
Dan Ward.

I always have this when I transfer hosts - ask your site hosts to allow those ports through their firewall... works for me (though how old this thread is Im sure you have moved on ...lol )

Replace with:
PHP Code:
                print(str_replace(" ""&nbsp;<b><font color='#000066'>"htmlspecialchars($channelInfo["displayname"]), "</font></b>"));
Obviously keep a backup, but I think that should make your cannels dark blue and bold. Tell me if it worked.
this is a long shot that anyone will answer - I use this mod and its perfect .. BUT ... after chaning skins recently out TS module text is massive compared to the other text on the site ... how can I reduce the size of the text on the main server title, the channel titles and the user titles ?

fingers crossed somebody still cares ! lol

I'm not sure if anyone will respond to this considering how old this thread is.

I've installed this module on my site and it works great.... after I discovered what the query port was on my TeamSpeak server. My TeamSpeak server is hosted by tserverhq.com, a shared server, and as such, each individual server they set up uses a different query port and NOT the standard 51234 port. Before I had the port set correctly, the module would always show the server as 'Offline' and of course, display no other information. For some reason, my hosting company did niot think it was necessary to provide the query port number to me so I found a way to discover it myself. This page will show you how to determine what your query port is if you are getting a 'Server Offline' message in the module window: http://www.tsviewer.com/index.php?page=webpost

Once I entered the correct query port number in the configuration, everything worked fine. I pay a very reasonable fee for the TeamSpeak server hosting.... I like the idea of not using my websites bandwidth for voice chat and the hassles of running my own TeamSpeak server are not there.

Like I said, this module works great, but there's a few upgrades I'd like to see:

1. The addition login & optional password entry within the modulw itself. This has been done on a different module on this site. A disconnect button would be a nice addition as well.

2. In this module, clicking on a channel engages the link to your server. Clicking on a different channel, disengages the current link, then engages the new link, meanwhile you are prompted to enter a nickname all over again. The operation would be much smoother if, once you were connected to a channel, clicking on a different channel would just switch channels instead of disengaging the old channel, entering the nickname again, then engaging the new channel.

3. A create channel capability within the module would be a fantastic feature.

4. The addition of an automatic refresh via AJAX would be a nice feature as well. This has been done on the display/login module

While the login/display module on this site provides nickname and password entry, you cannot switch channels using the module..... you can only connect to the default channel and you must use the teamspeak client to switch channels.

THIS modules capabilities, if combined with the capabilities of the display/login module, would make a near perfect TeamSpeak module for Vbulletin CMPS. Anybody up to the task?

Here's the link to the other module I refer to several times in this post: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=128826
