mainpage show THREADS instead of FORUMS

Does anyone know how i can modify my forum software so that it shows threads on the main forum page instead of forum categories.

So basically you go into a domain and you see the threads already there.
At the bottom an Archive sub-forum.

Can anyone please help me achieve this. Thanks
