Reset to defaults
Hi. I'm currently running a vB 3.6.8 forum which, since I started a couple of years ago, has been though several upgrades, modifications, add-ons, etc...
What I'm looking to do is wait for 3.7.0 to be released, then upgrade to it, but without keeping nothing except user, forum and post data. The last upgrade I did meant that an add-on I no longer use got kept in the system somehow, and I can't find anyway to remove it. I also have a few other issues with minor things that I don't like too much. So what I wanted to know was this, is there anyway that I can reset my forums settings, extra fields in the database, and anything else that years of mods and add-ons have caused, to go back to default settings, so I have a clean base to upgrade to 3.7.0 from? I know this sounds like major hassle, and I'm no doubt sure it is... but thank you anyway |

when 3.7 comes out am sure the impex system will be upgraded also so you can use impex to import posts/users/forums

Can ImpEx be used to import data from one vB to another then? I.e. I'd do a fresh install of 3.7.0, then follow the instructions to import from 3.6.8?
