Creating a Custom Banner?
I haven't messed with Vbulletin in ages, and I am trying to get my new site running. I want to create a banner like this at the top...
http://steampowered.com/v/index.php?area=forums&cc=US The black strip across the top, with links on it, and an image on the left. How exactly do I do this? |

Edit the "header" template and input your custom code and click save.

Would it be better to make an image for this, or just create a section with a black background?

Black background. Images = more loading time/larger files to load.

Awesome, thank you!
I hate to ask, but if anyone has something like this already around would they mind sharing it? I am really bad at writing this kind of thing =/ |

http://www.steamsourceservers.com/ or http://www.steamsourceservers.com/forums
its a brand new site that I am working on. Really it just needs to be a black bar along the top that I can put links on the right side and some kind of image on the left. I don't really have a company logo yet, so it could jsut say Steam Source Servers or something. http://steamgameservers.com/ Is another site that is doing pretty much the same thing I am. |
