but

WEll all i want now is how to use a bigger banner, width wise, the default banner width is 516 but i want to use the banner i made which is 700 wide. If you just try to edit the number from 516 to 700 in the header, it will mess the header totally, it won't fix it.

it could be because of the size setting's of the style i can't really say what is the problem as i can't see it

here right in your "header" template search for this :

<img src="$stylevar[titleimage]" border="0" alt="$vboptions[bbtitle]" /></a></td>

Once you've found it replace it with this :

<td align="center"><a href="$vboptions[forumhome].php?$session[sessionurl]"><img src="$stylevar[titleimage]" border="0" alt="$vboptions[bbtitle]" /></a></td>

And you will end up with the header being in the center like :
