more and more times i am facing this issue in our forums.
example:
the problem now is that my initial post in the new thread becomes the last because of the post-time/date. but i need my post with instructions to be the first one. is there any hack around which allows me to change the posttime/date? thanks! chris |

From what you described, that isn't possible.
From what you described, do have your "display order" set to newest first in your usercp or in that forum? |

there is a mod to "un-bump" threads, so it should be possible that a mod simply edits the post-time in the db, or?

the problem is that my post is not the "oldest" and therfore will get "lost" between older posts and newer posts.

Your talking about merging thread posts, the time stamps are correct and is how its supposed to function.
If you want ot manually edit time stamps of posts for what your wanting, then use phpmyadmin. |
