I never listened to his music unless it was in a movie or on the radio for some reason. Not my genre so I don't miss him.
If he is alive, then he obviously wanted to get away from everything and start over so more power to me. He could be my neighbor and I wouldn't really care.

Wayne's greedy, he gave more power to himself for tupac "starting over".
Tupac was the greatest and a well-known rapper worldwide. His music was so much great that people would still listen to it even though he passed away. Well, shot by a gun, to be exact.
I thought Vanilla Ice was the greatest! HAHAHA...
I really haven't heard a single song from Tupac buddy,
but when you have contact with reality AND if the news tells you that he's dead, IS BECAUSE HE IS DEAD!

I share a different opinion but that's the great thing about it as there's so many choices and artists to choose from. While I listen to some of what today has to offer I gravitate to the old school and underground. As for Tupac, I've listened to some of his mix-tapes (before the Digital Underground era that propelled him. My two favorites of Tupac are "I Get Around" and "If My Homie Calls".

Sorry I had to add it :[ That is what I thought RAP stood for when I was little.
Hahaa...Well, for the most part I agree. Like with anything else, there's 95% of so-so and only 5% of quality. It's unfortunate that the 95% gets most play.

Actually, didn't you hear about that guy who was reported dead and he wasn't at all? Came out on the news, he had no idea everyone thought he was dead till he read the paper, then he had to go through a load of things to get his identity and such back intact.
I just find it odd how they keep finding hidden tracks, or are they just constantly rehashing his previous work? Either way he is dead...or has a clone out there somewhere.
There is a ton of "officially" unreleased stuff by 2pac. While I do like the way they've mixed in newer artists with it I would much prefer to be able to buy the "unedited" stuff.
My favorite album by 2pac is "Strictly 4 my N.I.G.G.A.Z" and I still own the original CD that I picked up back in '93. If you own that album pop it into your stereo some time. You'll be surprised with how "quiet" it sounds as it was produced before the "loudness wars" were in full swing.
The man could be alive but I don't think that's possible unless his family was in on it. If he is alive I'm sure it's on a need-to-know basis so discussion on the subject is rather pointless.
