Making ignored user's posts disappear for members, but not mods
I have it set up so that when a member puts another member on ignore, the posts disappear - there is no option to view their post. I did this by deleting the contents of the threadbit_ignore template, and it's working well. However, one of my super moderators is having a problem with one of the members, and would like to ignore her posts. However, for admin purposes, she still needs that link to view the posts in case there's trouble.
How would I do this? I know it probably needs to be a conditional statement, but I know next to nothing about coding and therefore don't know how to write such a statement. Help! Also, I tried installing the Forced Ignore option, but it was screwing things up (I'm running 3.6.7 and it's written for 3.5 - the member that was being forced to ignore this moderator couldn't properly view/reply to threads that the mod had posted in.) I tried going in to her profile and just doing the regular ignore, but since the ignoree is a mod, she can't be ignored. Is there anyway to override this? |
