ok basicly my DVD Drive was working fine until today now it only reads CD's not DVD's
drive hardware = HL-DT-ST DVD-Ram GSA-H20N

when i put in a blank dvd or a film it doesnt read the disk just acts like theres nothin in the drive
can anyone help me

sure, someone can help you... visit the shop where you bought your dvd, go to the service counter and ask for help...

we can't check physically what's going on with your dvd ... how can we help then?
