Navbar problem after setting display:None
Hi all,
I need to selectively disable some Navbar items, which I do by setting CSS variable display to none. I've found however that vBulletin doesn't handle this well, because vbmenu popups then often appear in the wrong position. Any idea how this can be fixed? I have a temporary fix in place but I wish there were something better. Thanks. |

Try add in red (example of FAQ):
Code:
<!-- DISABLED <td class="vbmenu_control"><a href="faq.php$session[sessionurl_q]" accesskey="5">$vbphrase[faq]</a></td> --> For myself there are codes I want to leave in the templates (for future use or reference) that are disabled and the above is what I do. The red lines must wrap the entire section of code you want to disable. For the example FAQ there isn't a <if> condition tag; but if there is one make sure you wrap the line around the open and close tags. |

It's a lot less complicated to just comment it out, like Freesteylez said.

Unfortunately I need to disable them depending on the context, i.e. using Javascript.
Commenting them out won't do. |

Try using template conditionals to show selected navbar links under certain conditions.
