number of posts to view forum
ive seen site where i want to post in a specific forum but it says:
To access this forum your post count must be 35 or greater. Your post count is 24 momentarily. how can i do this? |

Create a new usergroup who can access and post in that forum.
Disallow your Registered Members from posting in that forum. Set up a promotion to move users from one group, Registered, to the new group once they get a certain number of posts. Done. |

Yea that would work, but i want it to tell them that they need x amount of posts before entering to forum. The way you said, it would just say they dont have permission instead of giving them the reason.

So change the phrase that tells them that they aren't allowed. The phrase in question is 'nopermission_loggedin'.
