Sorry, i'll try and explain better.

I have 3 forums which are accessible but are not visible in the forum home, basically you have to know the URL to be able to access them.

I have a navigation panel on the right hand side which has various different links. 3 of these links navigate to each one of the mentioned forums.

I would like one of these links to flash when a new post is made within the relevant forum. Similar to when you recieve a new PM.

Any better?
