I have a forum (with sub forums) that I want locked until one of a set of people in a certain usergroup "approve" a person to get into the forum. I don't want to use passwords or anything that can be "given out".
so is there a utility in VB to already do this? If so, how? If not, is there a mod that anyone knows of and can point me to it. This is for 3.6.7 |

I would suggest, letting the people 'approve' the user and then edit there permissions to allow them access to the specified forum. Or you can always make a separate usergroup that can access this forum and regular members can not.

yeah, but I want to give the "approvers" the ability to allow them in... What I really need is to give someone the ability to change someones elses usergroup ( without giving them super mod privs).
